1211. One, Two, Three, Four, Can I Have a Little More?

1210. 2022 Superbowl Half Time Show?

This beats it to the core:

1209. Oh! The Simple Things in Life

"I’ve been working on the railroad
All the live long day
I’ve been working on the railroad
Just to pass the time away..."

1208. Talking About Hummingbirds

(can't remember where I got this one from)

1207. Nostalgia

A fine souvenir from when I was a kid: The Brain. A movie from 1969 starring the sporty Jean-Paul Belmondo and the always impeccable David Niven. An adventure filled with humour, and the excellent plus to my ears was the soundtrack with this song:

I was already raised listening to Brit'Pop since in my mother's womb, starting with the Fab'Four of course. So obviously I could only be keen on this tune.

1206. La Folie

And when finally nightime comes, my foundlings devour their daily nanny.

...Yuck-Yum!
…...Yuck-Yum!
...…...Yuck-Yum!
Slurp! Rhaaa…

Now sleep tight, my progeny. I'll unfold my dark wings to go and fetch you your tomorrow's nanny.

Sensorial experiences are often linked to memories, and the picture above sent me back to that one time forty years ago when we were like crawling through a blizzardly winter night in the streets of Berlin, my military colleagues and I, out from the ‘DownTown’ coffee-shop (like in 'more pot than coffee'), all high as 20 y/o guys can get, my Walkman’s headphones playing this song at max. volume in my ears.

The rest of the memory is blurry. But I can guess we found sustainance at an Imbiss (local foodtruck - curry wurst and French fries with bizarre mayonnaise ) at Zoologisher Garten’s station, waiting for the first U-Bahn that would send us back to the barracks.

If you visitor are a twenty-something, please make sure that you carve any single moment of simple pleasure in your memories. Trust me, a time will come when they make your life brighter :-)

1205. Fancy of The Day

I like a man who gets creative with regards to his Sunday suit

1204. This Friday We're On For a Double-Dose [part 2]
