Yes, one can hope that the U.S. November elections will lead to a better curve in the the E.U. opinion. 

Simple question: trust (treaties and accords) being the keyword between Nations, how trustful can one federation of countries (or a whole world for that matter) be toward another that doesn’t even seem to care about its people’s aspirations?

Kind of a Crappy Week

It all started so well with a letter and gift from a friend overseas.

I also had in mind to do some nice shopping to please myself.

Then my dog Astrid started to show signs of illness and exhaustion.

On Wednesday, I felt sick to my stomach, but I told myself it would pass, but the pain gave way to episodes of fever and general soreness.

Astrid is now on a ton of medication, she is amorphous but at least she doesn't seem to be in pain anymore.

And this morning I finally tested positive for Covid, which keeps me from going to work for the next 7 days - not sure I'm complaining, though.

I'm clinging to the idea that at least this Covid episode is a lot less painful than the first one, in March 2020. And this time I can breathe normally, which is a huge relief.

I didn't mean to bother you guys. Writing this just helps me exorcise this shit and the depressed mood it put me in.
