404. Good News For Amateurs' Afficionados
[to whom it may be of interest]
Some of you may have been assiduous visitors of former blog Amateurs From Everywhere, initially published on the Nibblebit platform before it had to move on Twitter on late 2020. That account only lasted one year before being blocked (although Twitter is still being filled with porn...).
Visitor LosDosPutos was kind enough to get in touch and informed me that the man behind it is publishing again, on the NewTumbl platform this time [link here].
This is for the (very) good news, though in my opinion it comes with a couple of inconveniences: first you need to register and create an account on NewTumbl in order to access any adult-content. It is free but many will find this annoying. Then the navigation interface would benefit from being simpler, therefore lighter, because charging the pictures sometimes remind me of the times we depended on 56k modems (or is it a matter of bandwidth on their side?).
When Tumblr kicked so many of us out I created an account on NewTumbl which I never really used for the reasons above. But I could use it again to pay Amateurs-From-Everywhere a weekly visit and come back with kind of a 'Best Of' to publish here, crediting the source. (note to myself: contact the guy first :-)
