114 An Echo of a Past Life

Bust from French sculptor Jean-Antoine Houdon (1741-1828)

On the left, the original in terracotta (1777), exposed in The Louvres museum. His name is Alexandre, son to Alexandre-Théodore Brongniart, architect of the Stock exchange of Paris

On the right, a 19th century wax casting, in mint condition. This one was about to be dumped by a brother's former girlfriend... I hope it now appreciates my company.
