579. Weekend's Gossips - Part Two

Even the infamous breitbart.shit covered Sean Penn’s sayings, in their own way of course. Just below their headline and in upper-font: « Actor-director Sean Penn, who has spent years hobnobbing with dictators from Venezuela to Russia, said COVID-19 vaccinations should be compulsory, adding that he is “frustrated” by people who continue to resist the vaccine. »

Beware breitbart: illustrating your article with a picture of actors Sean Penn & Jack Nicholson with Pdt Putin at a movie festival doesn’t compare to what will eventually come to light regarding what Russia has upon your orange (ex)leader. But I remain confident that you MAGA mobsters will yell « Fake News! » when the day comes :)

But let’s just roll back to where the ‘news’ originates: an article from yahoo.com (the entertainment column, to be precise) that begins with « Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Sean Penn has been striving to set an example within Hollywood for how to live responsibly in challenging times. »

Same subject, different approach, still biased.

On top of that page is a short 1.45mn video featuring Mr Penn and Ethan Alter from Yahoo.

[Disclaimer: the following only depicts what my guts, after two glasses of French wine, told me] (*)

To put it shortly: the latter, from Yahoo, either seems to be performing his first interview ever or has quite a deficiency at measuring what a regular line of coke should be. (come on buddy, even I was better at self-control when I was a pre-teen)

As for Mr Penn, well it seems he has a taste for THC from sativa’s breed. Or maybe he had just forgotten the appointment, thus leading to the best illustration of « Wake-up call » ever :)

Anyway, what is to - possibly - learn from today’s gossip thingy could be: however the medias attempt to brainwash you about whatever and/or whoever you like, the power of thinking remains yours and yours only. Assuming you are willing to think by and for yourself. Rings a bell?

(*): Stupid as I am, I understood by watching American movies and series that anyone in the U.S. is willing to sue any person over defamation, based on whatever the latter said or wrote that became public. I therefore and hereby invoke the first amendment (freedom of speech) as well as the fifth amendment (protection against self-incrimination). Did I learn my lesson right?

Take good care, and have yourselves a fantastic weekend :-)
