Awww... I don't like children at all and why gay men feel the need to burden their lives with them is beyond my comprehension (yes, I am a selfish beyotch), but more power to them and scenes like this? I hope they become more prevalent... just to piss off those monsters who run 1 Million - strike that - 100K Moms.

I can relate. I havent had kid of my own, but with some of my 16 nieces & nephews I think I did my fair share of parenting :)

So sweet.
But I still don't understand the Hitler Haircut trend.

It looks like "my mom insisted on giving me a haircut but passed out after her 4rth Prozac & Gin..."

I consider myself fortunate to have this scene playing out across the street. My 30 somethings gay neighbors, to whom I came out 4 years ago at the age of 70, adopted a newborn in January and I am enjoying watching their daughter grow up before my eyes. Thinking like many of us that a child would be an intrusion in my life, I'm amazed at how this baby has triggered the nurturing instinct in me. I'm elated to have the opportunity to be a pseudo "Uncle" to this child and observe 2 dads devote themselves to loving this new family member , and believe me, they are doing an admirable job. She is the happiest baby I've ever seen, and I've been exposed to many in my own family. Life is very good for me now.

I am happy you have them for neighbors, Milleson. Being part of a child's entourage gives many yet precious opportunities to pass on bits of knowledge. And that is possibly one of the most rewarding things that’d be after all, isn't it?
