My grandma’s last name was Dick - an old Scottish name - I like to tell people I’m descended from a long line of Dicks! Great memes, thank you.

So many good ones here. I had to lift the depressed about the future one. Kinda spot-on.

@Paul: a Scottish ascendance? Lucky you!

@Pat: actually my whole weekend was lazy. A hibernation phase maybe?
As for you I hope your eye is getting better by the day.

@Rick: yes, the kind of meme that reminds me it's important to have a smile whenever a nice thing pops up.

The first one about the REAL apparence of Jesus isn't even close to one I've seen on internet when some sciencetific guys made some DNA search on his real apparence. They found a more big face with larger nose.

The «white» Jesus is just to make him acceptable to racist Christians back in the middle ages.

@JiEL: I hope that scientist did not base his research upon a DNA analysis of the Turin Shroud. which is now known to be a fraud - although it is still revered, bigotry being what it is...
Anyway it is obvious that Jesus, if he ever existed, must have physically looked like any local man from that area in these times, and certainly not like a white, blond, blue-eyed Superstar icon the papacy ordered him to be represented as.
But again, some people will only surround themselves with images of what they want to be true. First sign of narrow-mindedness.
