The development of this series, which evolves to becomes a cross-over with it’s counterpart, thus forming a global and continuing story, is both adequate and logical. And it eventually ends up with an elegant storytelling among the StarWars universe, may I say.
Truth be told, I did not expect much from ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ - not to mention the comments from so-called professional critics’ audience from its pilote episode, but we know that most critics are just failed creators anyway.
However, I stood happily surprised. Really.
As bold as it may seem, I think that both this series and ‘The Mandalorian’ are even more worth it than the latest movies that were sold to us.
And my guts tell me that the people at LucasFilm know it already, despite the easiness at choosing some of their scripts situations. i.e. the King Kong thingy in the last episode: quite the useless and ridiculous wink. Yet totally sticking to Lucas’s Ego.
Now: what did you think of it? Or, if not already, are you planning on watching it?

My mind is empty; I've never heard of this.
I'm glad you ultimately liked it. 😉
The team who put these two series together should've been assembled for the last six movies—although I'm sure a few of them would've been in grade school in the years leading up to what ultimately became "The Phantom Menace." Also, I believe these are as good as they are because Lucas himself is only involved tangentially.
@Rick: not that many people can- or want to - assume the subscription to quite the plethora of available Networks. But thanks to the InterWebs there are other ways to 'keep up' with series and movies. I shall not explain the matter any further here because I don’t want to raise an easy flag for the DMCA’s hound dogs. But I’ll be happy to assist should you send me an email on that matter :-)
@Mark: I'll admit it, at the time the series aired I read an article written by a critic from the NYT (I think). And as most of his peers he was denigrating the show, based on the first episode's viewing only. There was my bad.
But there are some shows that I like to watch at my convenience once all episodes have been aired, like this one. And I do not regret it.
To Hell the critics who are so prompt to discard the amount of talent - and work - that they themselves are not individually worth. Both The Mandalorian and The Book Of Boba Fet are now telling a story that this bunch of reviewers couldn't have come up with, even if under the menace of a saber laser :-p
Haven't seen it. Probably won't. I liked the Star Wars films, but haven't watched the latest ones.
Glad you enjoyed it. I went to the first Star Wars film on opening day. I had no idea what to expect. I have never seen another Star Wars film. Ever. I like all the toys, though.
