I was barely five when Apollo 11 landed on the moon and, probably a short time after, this guy landed amongst my toys. Its limbs were articulated which made it more enjoyable to play with it. Also I seem to remember that some kind of moon rover came with, not sure.
And yes Mark, decades later I too can remember how it smelled :-)

@kyree: I had to look it up but I never saw any of it. My guess is that it was not licensed for sale in Europe, or at least not in France. The one I'd love to find today is Robby the Robot. I saw the movie for the first time about two decades after it aired but I instantly loved it and its aesthetics :-)
@Rick: maybe by the time Armstrong walked the moon you were no longer into toy dolls and had moved on to other manly characters? :-p
