This is an interesting post. What is the significance, please? Is it his striking good looks? As a devotee of the movies from the 1930s-1940s, I've had a visual love affair with many of the men from this era, David Manners, Phillip Reed and James Ellison to name a few. Many of the B-list actors (second leads) were drop dead gorgeous. I'll add George to my list.

I am not aware of him, but he sure is handsome.

Quite a looker.

Richard: I didn't know of him prior to stumbling onto this picture at Vellohomo's blog. And yes I fell for his looks and the 'perfect imperfections' beneath the apparent symmetry of his face. Now I'll have to see if I can find somewhere on the Internet a copy of this western, just to check to watch him play.

You should find him in many a role over the years he worked.

Yum. Kind of vanilla, but then, on occasion? Vanilla is good.
