That last one will put your eye out! And yes, a buffet is the perfect way to describe this. I was all set to settle for just #2 - you know, the way you promise yourself you'll just have a few scrambled eggs, but then you see the potatoes with red bell peppers and maybe just a smidge of those... and then that waffle looks hot and tasty... and before you know it your plate is heaped to the ceiling and you have a literal food orgy on your hands. Sigh. Oh, to have such problems!

@Upton: I suppose that's what Roman orgies were about, taking the whole evening and night to appreciate whatever "food and beverage" they fancied in whatever positions - mostly laying on sofas and cushions or pools. Did they not invent the bath houses after all?
