Christianity Basics Abstract*:

The popular belief that a heavenly Jewish baby who is also his own father, born of a virgin mother, died for three days so that he could ascend to heaven on a cloud and make you live forever only if you symbolically eat his flesh, drink his blood and tell him telepathically that you accept him as your Lord and Master so that he can eliminate from your spiritual being an evil force that is present in all mankind because an immoral woman created from the rib of a man was deceived by a talking reptile and possessed by a malevolent angel, to secretly eat a forbidden fruit from a magical tree.

I am aware that I'm quite candid but, separation of the State from the church(es) being acted through law, shouldn't any transgression from constituents be looked into and prosecuted? Like Lauren Boebert unshamefully claiming the opposite (see Here) ?
I mean: how can a person such as her, in terms of political and representative position, can state something as much contrary to what she's been elected to uphold, without being charged nor prosecuted?
Shit! There's more smartness in any episode from the Desperate Housewives series than in her whole curriculum, even more if including her shithead MTG acolyte.

Lauren Boebert can’t be prosecuted for what she said, no matter how false or idiotic it is. Her right to say false and idiotic things is guaranteed by the First Amendment, the same amendment that she ignores when she falsely claims that the separation of church and state is not in the Constitution.
As the article says, her statement “The church is supposed to direct the government. The government is not supposed to direct the church. That is not how our Founding Fathers intended it.” is spectacularly false.
We know what the Founding Fathers intended. The intellectual climate of the time was the Enlightenment, in which the separation of church and state was one of the guiding principles. Thomas Jefferson made this very clear.
Luckily, the U.S. Constitution was written by men of the Age of Enlightenment, not by fools like Lauren Boebert.

Elected officials should be made to take the same exam as immigrants wanting citizenship.
To Larry - I've been wondering about that First Amendment and how it's not applied to people yelling "Fire" when there is none. Shouldn't lying about something be equally not allowed? Just curious.
Boebert is an idiot...just like Gaetz, MTG, Gomert...oh that list goes on and on. The sad part is that she's got constituents who believe her because they haven't bothered to learn anything, either.
Like all the rights in the Constitution, the right of freedom of speech is not absolute. Famously, Supreme Court justice Oliver Wendell Holmes wrote in 1919 that the right did not include "falsely shouting fire in a theatre and causing a panic." But the Court has always been extremely careful about not prohibiting speech that might be considered political speech. For example, in 1989 the Court ruled that burning the flag is legal, even though some people think it's despicable, because burning the flag in political protest could be considered a form of political speech, which is protected.
The problem with banning political speech, even if it's hateful and lying, is: where do you draw the line? If you start banning speech that you disagree with, you end up like Russia, where calling the invasion of the Ukraine a "war" is a crime punishable by 15 years in prison.
The bottom line is, it's better to let some people tell lies than to have the Government decide what the truth is and who can say it.

Xtians seem to think they have a right to say what goes on in this world. It's time they were put in their place and organized religion - which is a money making buisness - needs to be put in it's place as well - and one of the places it does not belong? Telling me what to do. Get out of my politics you hideous ignorant people. All we can do is vote and hope that younger generations don't fall prey to this brainwashing Xtians seem to think passes for a life.
