Absolutely! (Works for cats, too, but in a different way.)
I have three cats and they act like this too.
Mainly in the morning when they want their caned meat food.
Specially for on of them, Adam. He will come on my chest and lick my chin and ear etc while purring like a 747.
True dat! Pets are the loves that ask so little of us and offer up their all.
@Rick & Jean-Luc: Cats are so good at that. Especially when they're hungry early - very early - in the morning :-P
@Upton: I couldn't have put it better. I hate to admit it, but I'm considering adopting a dog at new. It's a responsibility that offers a purpose like no other, and a plentiful of simple rewards that I so miss. Time will tell, I guess.
