I received today a mail from my Company's HR along with a contract amendment for the 6 months to come at my current position which I already agreed to fulfill, asking me to return the document duly signed. No big surprise here. So I just forwarded it to my personal email address in order to deal with it from the comfort of my couch.
Well, I do not know which business school this charming Olivia from HR went to, but they certainly did not include the "re-read what you're about to send prior to clicking the button" in any of their courses...
I had to edit the .pdf document in order to correct my social security number that - as per her - had me born 600km souther than I was (therefore avoiding future issues with the Mutual Insurance Company), as well as rectifying (two times, no less) that I was a Mr and not a Ms.
Holy-Whatever! Am I supposed to work at one of the major European Bank-Insurance company or not?!
Anyway, I'll just choose to smile about it!
(and now I shall think about making my way up to the recruitment team :-)
End of tonight's prose.

That sounds like Munich Re in the US.
her quiet quitting maybe?
Good grief!
I can promise you it's not any better here these days. Seems nobody proofreads anything and the higher-ups don't seem to care.
HR is a joke. Ours is outsourced. And they are terrible. They do nothing. The only time you hear from them is when they want you to praise the company or you're in trouble.
