When bad taste and ego meet money, and the designer has done his best to limit the damage.
Hôtel des Invalides - Built by edict of King Louis XIV for the veterans of his wars "so that "those who have laid down their lives and shed their blood in defence of the monarchy (...) may spend the rest of their days in tranquillity". To date one of the most important masterpieces of French classical architecture.

Fabulous!!
Wow!! What a great set of pictures.
The tailored suit picture. Now that's SEXY!
La série de photos dégage un côté « chic intemporel » très agréable.
I can see a lot of good taste here.
Effectively, the only bad stae I can see, are #12 (too black) and #15 (too bizarre)
@Anon 8:50PM: I agree. True class does not reside into wearing a suit - or whatever clothing for that matter. It's how the person showcases the clothing that makes the both appealing. The opposite of the Kardashian way, of sorts. LoL!
@Xersex: #15 does not actually exists, it's a collage from an artist who's name eludes me. (but I'm sure there's some philosophical message in his work that us mundane people are not equipped to grasp... :-)
As for #12 I kept it only for the hanging lamps which once got my attention on westwing.c0m. The decor itself might as well be designed for a football player or the the last successful RAP singer for all we care...
