987. And the Insanity Contest Winner Is...

You know most usually, when you choose to impersonate some kind of character, you chose one that is in no way related to who you are. That is the main idea that has driven Carnivals for centuries, if not millennia. And, in some ways, the Internet is nothing but a huge planetary Carnival.
This year, that ‘woman’ has to win the contest!
(Thx for this one, Mark :)

Always finding excuses for their kinks.

I think parading mentally ill people masquerading as religious zealots is quite a powerful trick... one that should be done away with. That show and his network should be taken off the air. I hope the FCC got as many complaints about her outlandish performance as they did when Janet Jackson had a nip slip.

After they get her off the air, I hope they get her badly needed psychiatric help.

As much as I am for the freedom of speech I agree with you, Upton. There's a limit between what should air on TV or radio networks or not, and it should be a simple one because based upon common sense along with a sense of responsibility towards the people who are not witted that much, or do not have at least an average education, and who may lack a critical mind. But oh, wait, I'm told these are exactly the people that are targeted by those networks to sell them crap, including a lady with obvious dementia. Paul Eluard wrote "la Terre est bleue comme une orange..." And we know an orange only gets blue when it's rotting.
As for me I got used now to rarely watch TV. Too much crap here too.
